Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible is God's revelation of Himself to mankind, written by men under divine inspiration, and Jesus is the focus of the Bible's divine revelation. Scripture is true and completely reliable.

There is only one living and true God. God is the Creator and Ruler of this world, all-powerful, omniscient, eternal, holy, and perfect in every way. Our triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

Mankind is God's creation. We are made in His own image, yet with a sin nature because of the original fall of mankind. The grace of God allows mankind to enter into fellowship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ, God's holy Son, came to earth as fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice to redeem all of mankind. The death of Jesus on the cross was the perfect payment for the sin of mankind, and salvation is available only through personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus was raised from the dead and now sits at the right hand of God where He intercedes for mankind. The Holy Spirit indwells all those who serve Jesus as Lord, and He convicts mankind of sin and testifies of truth.

One day Christ will return in power and glory to judge the world and to bring His followers into an eternal dwelling place called Heaven. Those who have rejected Jesus as Savior will be cast into outer darkness in the eternal torment of Hell. The love of Christ compels believers to share God's beautiful gift of salvation with others, knowing that the Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should repent of their sins and turn to Him for eternal salvation.
